Message to Band patrons planning to attend the July 17th PV Symphonic Band "Summer Show Stoppers" Concert at the Botanic Garden

The Garden is enforcing the following policy:

"Outside alcohol is not allowed into the Garden for liability purposes. For those who would like beer or wine, there will be a cash bar at the concert.

Outside alcohol will not be permitted in the Garden. Beer and wine will be available for purchase at the concert."

This prohibition on outside alcohol being brought into the concert area has always been Garden policy, but now an effort will be made by Garden personnel to enforce it.

• Beer and wine will be sold at a stand on the meadow from 5 to 7:30 PM.
• There will be a food truck in the parking lot from ~ 5 PM to 7:30 PM.

We recognize that enforcing “no outside alcohol” is a significant change.  This is balanced by the positive news about the beer & wine stand + food truck.
