Rheuben Allen Education Foundation and PVSB

The Rheuben Allen Education Foundation is dedicated to fostering music education in our community, providing musical instruments to deserving underprivileged students at no cost.  The Foundation manufactures signature woodwind instruments in conjunction with several noted musicians, including Kenny G, Dave Koz, and the Count Basie Estate, over 200 of which have been donated to date.

The Foundation is currently working with the Palos Verdes Symphonic Band in memory of former music director David Stanton, producing a Limited Edition CD/DVD combination.  These recordings are available in appreciation for a donation to the Band and contain several of David's most cherished performances on clarinet, including his last appearance with the Band.  These will be given to anyone donating $35 (DVD and CD), $25 (DVD), or $20 (CD) to the band.  Donations of $250.00, which will provide a new clarinet to a student musician in the name of the donor, are also currently accepted.

Rheuben Allen is a woodwind designer and repairman, photographer, movie producer, and clarinetist in the Palos Verdes Symphonic Band.
