The Palos Verdes Symphonic Band

PVSB is a community ensemble based in the Palos Verdes Peninsula area of Southern California. We perform regularly and are welcoming new members.

Our Spring Concert is coming up!

On Sunday, March 22nd, 2026 at 4pm, the Palos Verdes Symphonic Band will feature multiple soloists around the ensemble, and showcase music from composers like W.A. Mozart, George Gershwin, and more in our concert titled “Center Stage.”  Join us at The Salvation Army Torrance Corps, which is located at 4223 Emerald St, Torrance, CA 90503. Admission is free.

Now is a great time to join the band! We are starting back up with rehearsals on January 21st at 7:15pm at Riviera United Methodist Church. You can look forward to performing with us some time in March or April.

The Band

The PVSB consists of musicians of all ages and professions across the South Bay community, including including music teachers, engineers, physicians, homemakers, and students, as well as both amateur and professional instrumentalists.
